Dream Beach House Tour – Day Three

March 23, 2018

Here we are on the final day of our tour of this Figure Eight Island beach house designed by Lindsey Cheek of Gathered

, a design firm and boutique in Wilmington, North Carolina. (See Day One
and Day Two). With minimal furnishings and a soothing ocean-inspired color palette, the designer let the incredible surroundings take center stage in the master bedroom (painted Benjamin Moore Palladium Blue HC-144). Your eyes wander straight to the ocean view! Can you even imagine waking up to that?! *Sigh* I guarantee you won’t stop daydreaming after seeing the gorgeous master bathroom! The other bedrooms and the turquoise-filled solarium are coastal perfection too. Continue on for even more beautiful photos by Mille Holloman and Amanda Holloman!

Loving the mix of pretty tile and the texture from the grasscloth. My dream bathroom!

A shower overlooking the ocean (and the master’s private deck)…I’ll take it!

This bedroom painted Benjamin Moore’s Gossamer Blue is one of my favorite spaces! Such a wonderful mix of color, pattern and texture. The Regina Andrew bubble chandelier is stunning!

Yet another unique light fixture and fabulous art!

Lastly is the soaring turquoise-filled solarium. Notice the custom shuffleboard!

Great wet bar with the same turquoise tile as the kitchen.

I hope you enjoyed the tour as much as I did! Believe it or not, there’s still more to see….go here for even more photos of this incredible home. And like I’ve mentioned before, if you see something you love, chances are it’s available through the designer’s store Gathered. Visit their storefront in Wilmington, North Carolina, check out their online store, or contact them for info. If you loved this, I know you’ll love looking at Lindsey’s other designs as well–be sure to check out her portfolio and follow her on Instagram for more eye candy and inspiration!

And of course, this tour wouldn’t be complete without some ‘before’ shots:

You definitely can’t complain about the view!

Be sure to see Day One and Day Two of this beach house tour!

Hi Lisa, sorry for the delay here…I believe those beautiful chairs are available to purchase through Gathered. Just contact them for more info. You can also try googling Spindle Chair for similar options.

Does anyone review or answer comments? If not, suggest removing this feature. This is my second time asking a question in the last 2 years without a reply. Thanks!

My ultimate dream is to buy a land near the beach and build a house like this. I’m silent reader of your articles erin. house tours articles are really exceptional and the way you take images are mind blowing.

Finally someone who uses dark wood! I’m in the process of fixing up and I plan on using brown wood for ceilings as well. It’s nice to have pictures of it. It really pops the white beach colors. I can’t wait to finish mine and post pictures. Thank you
    I enjoy your great pictures
