When House Beautiful recently came out with their 120th anniversary issue dedicated entirely to blue and white, they fittingly chose one of my favorite interior designers, Andrew Howard, to grace the cover of the special issue! Oh how I loved the vibrant home in Ponte Vedra Beach, and luckily for us, the Florida-based designer had even more photos of the beachside home on his website! What I love most about the home isn’t just the fab use of blues or the bright, beachy vibe, it’s the unexpected details and fearless choices throughout. I absolutely adore the aqua blue trim and ceiling in the living room, the slide in the bunk room (genius!) and the bold use of wallpaper! The bathroom with the bow wallpaper is the cutest thing ever! For more photos by David A. Land and Helen Norman (styled by Doretta Sperduto and Elizabeth Demos) head over to House Beautiful and Andrew’s portfolio! And if you’re not already, be sure to follow him on Instagram as well…his posts are seriously the best!

My family and I are headed out of town today for our first official vacation as a family of four! We’re taking a road trip to Chicago for Thanksgiving…wish us luck! I’ll have some guest bloggers on while I’m away though. Can’t wait for you to see their inspiring spaces!

This one doesn’t grab me, Erin. Too many bold prints and shades of blue/turquoise. I think that’s it. It just doesn’t feel restful to me like others you’ve shown. But, to each her own, yes?

Love love that bow wallpaper in the girls’ bathroom! Wish I could find it for myself 😉

I’m Erin and I am obsessed with the color turquoise. I started this blog to collect inspirational photos I find of fabulous rooms that feature all of the lovely shades of my favorite color. For even more turquoise, visit my shopping blog Everything Turquoise!
