Andrew Howard Interior Design

July 18, 2016

Those of you that visit my website (instead of getting the daily email) may notice that things look a little different around here today! After almost nine years of being hosted by Blogger, I’ve finally made the big, super-scary switch over to WordPress! There might be some tweaks here and there, but I hope you find the new look easier to navigate. The paint colors section I know will come in handy for so many! If you have any feedback about the new design, please let me know! I also want to send a huge thank you to McKenzie of Ice & Milk Design Co., the designer I worked with to bring my vision to life. She made the whole process really easy and totally not super-scary! 🙂

I can’t think of a better way to kick off my new blog design than with a new project by Andrew Howard Interior Design, one of my favorite designers! And it really doesn’t get better than this: a waterfront home in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida awash in sea-inspired hues! Not only is the home as fabulous as can be, it’s also family-friendly. We’re talking tons of built-in storage, a great breakfast nook, not to mention the incredible laundry room/home office! Seriously though, how gorgeous is that hand-painted tile covering the wall in the kitchen?! (It’s Sea Mist from Hollingsworth Tile Company in Jacksonville.) Love the breezy blues it inspired throughout the rest of the home! Check out the August issue of Family Circle to read all about the home, and for more photos captured by photographer David A. Land and styled by Elizabeth Demos, go here! And if you guys don’t already follow Andrew Howard on Instagram, add him right away–he’s hilarious and his feed is full of droolworthy spaces!

I recently discovered your blog and devoured most of your archives over the last couple of months. Then I came to the realization that I have been pinning and repinning images first found on your website for years! The new redesign on your site looks great except I have to let you know that your blog no longer show up on my feedly reader, which makes me a sad panda. Is there a better way to get your posts?

I’m so happy you discovered my blog after all this time! As for Feedly, try it again…it should be working now! Let me know if it isn’t though! 🙂

Thanks for including paint colors! Do you happen to know where they got the sheer turquoise blue curtains in the living room? Or the throw pillows?

I’m Erin and I am obsessed with the color turquoise. I started this blog to collect inspirational photos I find of fabulous rooms that feature all of the lovely shades of my favorite color. For even more turquoise, visit my shopping blog Everything Turquoise!
