Design Loves Detail

February 12, 2016

I thought this perfectly sweet girl’s room by Mollie of Design Loves Detail was a great way to kick off Valentine’s Day weekend! Isn’t the gorgeous floral wall a total showstopper?! She wanted to use wallpaper but couldn’t find the perfect one–so instead she painted it herself, using inspiration from Rifle Paper Co.! Most of the furnishings were from the used-to-be-nursery….a mix of yard sale and Craigslist finds! And can we talk about the bathroom?? Love that concrete sink! Visit Design Loves Detail to see more photos by Jessie Alexis and to read all about the bedroom and bathroom!

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Oh, such a lovely bedroom. Perfect for girls. Wish I could paint too. Sometimes I have such an inspiration but I never find what I am looking for. Totally agree that is hard to find wallpapers with the model you want.

Love everything! Did she share with you the source for the bathroom shower curtain? I checked her blog but couldn't find any info. Thanks!

What is the pink background paint color name to the hand painted accent wall? It is so pretty! Such a perfect pink with a hint of peach!

I loved the room. I cannot believe that is not wallpaper but an actual mural. It is so beautiful, so much talent. I have 2 sons and another one coming soon and i painted murals in all of their rooms for a little surprise and fun contrast.

I’m Erin and I am obsessed with the color turquoise. I started this blog to collect inspirational photos I find of fabulous rooms that feature all of the lovely shades of my favorite color. For even more turquoise, visit my shopping blog Everything Turquoise!
