Tracey Overbeck Stead

March 5, 2013

One of the cutest things I’ve ever seen is the Oak Bluffs section of Martha’s Vineyard–it’s filled with these colorful little gingerbread cottages! Austin interior designer Tracey Overbeck Stead and her husband Ethan renovated a cozy cottage of their own here and I am ready to move in! They kept all of the original charm (it was built in 1869!), but the home has all the modern comforts you’d ever need. I love how they displayed their great collection of coastal artifacts and nautical accessories, especially all of those whales! Visit Coastal Living to read the article about the home and see more photos by Annie Schlechter, and Tracey’s website to see more even more pics of the home!

Oak Bluffs, well all of Martha's Vineyard is wonderful. I was lucky to spend time there. But oh, so expensive! I can't imagine what they paid for this, even in worn down condition.

My favorite so far. This is fantastic and made me smile. As always I am amazed that people live like this but I am glad someone can!

I really love this house! Very similar to houses in Ocean Grove, NJ, where I vacation every summer.

Walls look like Powder Pink and Light Green which I'm painting my bedroom those colors with the light green house shutters as our headboard. It looks beautiful. Another Pinterest Idea.
