I feel like HGTV could of had me on speed dial when designing their 2013 Smart Home! I caught the tour on TV over the weekend and was super-impressed with all high-tech components of the Jacksonville Beach, Florida home. But I’m not going to get into any of that, I’m here to talk turquoise–this home was overflowing with it! Interior designer Linda Woodrum went all out with the sea-inspired color palette, going for a relaxing but fun look…perfect for a vacation home by the beach. I don’t know what I love more, the inside or out, it’s all straight out of my dreams! Head on over to HGTV to see lots more pics (believe it or not!), including the master bedroom suite, guest bedroom and loft, all the source info and much more. And of course, enter to win the home too. (BIG party at my house if I’m the lucky one!!)

I read your blog every single day, first thing in the morning, for years now and this has to be my all time favourite home to date! Not an easy feat because I love them all! Everything about it is gorgeous! Off to dream!!!

Very nice!!

The minute I saw this house I thought "omg Erin is going to FREAK! with delight." And I wuz RIGHT!
It is gorgeous – anywhere north of FL it would be a bit too much, imo – but at a beach house in an always-temperate clime? Perfection!
Hope you are feeling GREAT!

Perfeição, a casa dos meus sonhos!

I like the house, but I think they put too much furniture in most of the rooms. I love the tile in the shower/tub and put something like that in my own house. And those stairs with the tiled risers are awesome too!

Looks like someone threw up blue/green all over this house. This is too much, IMHO. Even for a beach house.

I was a little concerned that I was going overboard with the turqoise in my new house, but I believe this house proves there is no such thing as "too much turquoise!"

Now I envy all US resident. 🙂
The softly pop up turquoise on the outside it fabulous!

This is another beautiful HGTV Dream Home. That turquoise rocks! franki

Oh my gosh! I adore this house! Not to mention the cedar shakes on the outside are the same color as our cedar shakes and the turquoise front door is about the same color, too! I feel really good knowing that we did the "trend" two years before HGTV! Ha ha! 😉
Rose - The Center of My Self says
Wow! All that happy color is just so uplifting! The entry is very close to the color of my entry; the kitchen, too, is very close to the color of my kitchen/dining area (which I painted Aqua Spray around 2004). I love the raw plank ceiling in the entry, the use of natural woods, glossy white, interesting architectural surprises here and there. The exterior is totally adorable!

Oh wow wow wow… Gorgeous! I normally wouldn't commit to one colour permeating every room (including turquoise which is my favorite) but this is stunning! The exterior alone is incredible. Thank you for sharing! I am smitten!
Warmly,
Laurelle

Dare I say there is almost TOO much turquoise for me?! I never, ever thought that was possible, but I think they went a bit overboard. I do love the laundry room and bathroom tile though. And the turquoise painted porch roofs and roof overhangs are beautiful!
Colleen Taylor says
Oh my oh my, Love it all in this simply divine home.

Lots of interesting designs and concepts here. My kid would love the bunkbed integrated into the bedroom, nice post!
Shanna @ Pineapple and Coconut says
See this is why I hate paint colors. I have a paint chip with Watery And Drizzle and they look NOTHING like what's in the kitchen of this house. On the chip they are a pale greyish green, ond slightly darker than the other, but HERE they look WAY more blue. This is why I have 10 samples of Sherwin Williams paint in my possession for my master bedroom and can't decide. It all look so different on the walls, on the chips and online. My kitchen colors are finally decided though – you will LOVE!!! I am going to have my own personal House of Turquoise!!

What is the source for the tile? I'm totally going for "Drizzle" with that tile on the front stairs for my foyer and kitchen. Thanks for the inspiration. Please provide the source (mfg/color or part number) for the tiles used on front the stairs.
