Interior Philosophy

September 5, 2012

Just when I think I couldn’t be any more enamored with WaterColor, Florida (thanks to this beautiful home from last week), I go and discover more photos of one of my favorite homes ever…located in WaterColor of course! The beach house was designed by Mandy Mayers and Jessica Roan, owners of the Atlanta home furnishings shop Interior Philosophy. The perfect sea-inspired palette of sandy neutrals and ocean blues make for such a serene environment. I cannot get over the fun children’s bedroom though, the red sure livens things up! Love the cute slipcovered chairs and striped Dash and Albert rug! You can see more photographs by Brian Bieder of the beachy-chic family areas, just head here!

The best way to go about designing the inside of your house is to decide which color would help you relax while you’re inside the house. The room looks especially relaxing with the turquoise paint, and I like how the room makes good use of the sunlight to make the atmosphere more vibrant. Also, I love how homey and cozy everything looks! It’s definitely a great house for a family.

Very charming! I also love the colors in the children's room…the vintage carnival theme is a unique touch & pulls it all together nicely.
