If there is one place I’d want to live based on name alone, it’s WaterColor, Florida. And to know there are homes like this there?! Heaven! The incredible home was designed by Geoff Chick & Associates (the same architect who was responsible for that amazing home I shared on Monday). The kitchen is fabulous…love the cabinetry, shimmery tile, and blue island! Did you notice that niche in the stairway?? The homeowner is using it to display their wonderful collection of beach sand from all over the world. You can’t really tell, but the back of the niche is covered in antique nautical map wallpaper. Such a great idea! You can check out more photos of the home taken by Jack Gardner over at Geof Chick’s blog Gulf Coast Cottages! And for lots more design eye candy, just visit his website!
Have a safe and super-fun Labor Day weekend everyone!!! See you back here Tuesday! 🙂

Oh WOW! That is a gorgeous house, loved everything about it, thanks for sharing!
Everyone needs to visit WaterColor!!!!!
We vacation in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida which is a private beach near Destin and very close to WaterColor. One of my favorite things to do as soon as we arrived was to see how many homes had been developed in WaterColor since the previous year and what color they were. We have been going for eight years and watched it develop.
Wouldn't you love to sit in on the WaterColor board meetings?????
I just sat here with my mouth open! GORGEOUS! There wasn't ONE THING I would change about this house:o)
What an amazing great room. Can't you just imagine a huge family gathering with lots of amazing food in the kitchen? Gorgeous!

Funny….when I first saw the outside of the home I wondered if it was in this area….they all (even though a bit different) have the same feeling. I could live here FOREVER and a day. Love this one! Now, if I only had a few million sitting around…cause I'm pretty sure that's how much I would need!
Oh my goodness…I just discovered your blog and it is truly a blog after my own heart….a blog dedicated to the color turquoise…brilliant!
This is gorgeous! We have a place very near Watercolor and two of my best friends do have homes in Watercolor. It really is one of the prettiest places in the whole world! This house is stunning and i LOVE the sand collection! Thanks for sharing this with us!
