The Cottages at Romar

March 26, 2014

Looks like I found another vacation destination to add to my ever-growing list! Orange Beach, Alabama! Has anyone ever been? This adorable home designed by Melanie Martin and Pat O’Neal is located in The Cottages at Romar, a brand new private coastal community in Orange Beach. The serene palette is so relaxing and echoes the white sand beaches and sea outside! I’m absolutely loving that kitchen…the cabinets are dreamy!! The turquoise chandelier is fab too, of course! See more pics of the home, as well as the rest of the community here!

My sister and I took our kids to Orange Beach each summer for years. Great family vacation spot with beautiful white sand and clear water.

My parents have a condo in OB, so I get there a couple times a year. Just got back last week. I know exactly that community and IT IS ADORABLE! I drive into it every time I am down there. We love OB, the sand is gorgeous, clean beaches, great family atmosphere, fun eating places, a tad less crowded than cities like it across the AL/FL border.

Thanks for showing the inside! I always wonder, but always seem to miss their open houses.

I grew up going there. It has changed alot over the decades but what hasn't? It has great sand and beautiful water. My cousin's wife owns a cute shop there called The Orange Grove. It's a shop in an old, old home on the main road there. Too cute!
PS – Can't believe your son is 7 months old? Adorable:-)
