Sarah Brantley

July 30, 2012

Pretty sure I just heard a resounding “awww!” from all of you! Boy or girl, it was no question that Little Rock, Arkansas mom Sarah Brantley was going to paint her baby’s nursery blue–it’s her favorite color. She had the furniture bought ahead of time, and the FABULOUS bedskirt fabric from Cynthia East Fabrics inspired the rest. If she had a girl, she planned to bring out the pink in the crib skirt with accessories, and blue and green if they had a boy. So smart! I just love the subtle stripes on the walls, the special artwork and comfy glider…not to mention precious little Catherine Riley! See the photos taken by Nancy Nolan and read all about the space over at At Home in Arkansas!

Edit: The main paint color is Benjamin Moore Palladian Blue, and the stripe is Sherwin-Williams Watery.

It's the same fabric as the crib skirt. I bought a drum shade and had it wrapped in the fabric and then trimmed with green ric rac.
