Guest Blogger: Laura Trevey from Bright Bold and Beautiful

February 19, 2016

Hello everyone, it’s Laura Trevey here! I’m so excited to be guest posting for my friend Erin, and today I have a real treat for you. Meet Jenny Andrews! Jenny, owner of Andrews Designs graciously invited us to tour her resort worthy home filled with bright whites and sea inspired turquoise colors. We both share a love of water and coastal living decor, so I immediately felt welcome the minute I stepped into her awe inspiring decorated home.

Family Room

Jenny is inspired by water and light, and her bright and coastal color palette in each room is a reflection of these. The space is beautifully decorated, as well as extremely comfortable for every day living. Notice the large wall mirror and mirrored panels reflecting the natural sunlight around the room. So refreshing!

Kitchen

Jack the cat welcomes us into the kitchen where the light shines on the gorgeous turquoise blue colored walls and light fixtures. The perfect paint color choice for this room is Benjamin Moore Blue Bonnet.

The Pool Room

Off of the kitchen is a charming indoor pool house. I love how Jenny keeps this space light and airy with acrylic tables, adding color with large abstract art and comfy throws. Elsie, their sweet dog, was the perfect tour guide – showing us every nook and corner.

Living Room

One of Jenny’s favorite spots is her living room. She states, “I love how the morning light fills the room each day.” She mixes and matches the old with the new to create a graceful and stylish space. The collection of family photos on top of the piano adds a sentimental touch and personalizes the room.

Chic Home Office

Take a peek at her home office / sunroom. Custom built in bookcases, floor to ceiling windows and stunning accents all make this dreamy room my favorite spot in the house.

Thank you Erin for letting me share Jenny’s delightful home with your readers. For the full tour click here. Be sure to follow me on Instagram for home tour sneak peeks and Pinterest for more beautiful home interiors to inspire!

What lovely furnishings! I especially like the coffee table in the first photo – is it available for purchase?
