Amazing Spaces LLC

March 26, 2012

I could stare at these images all day, they’re just so “me”! The light-filled kitchen was designed by Jason Landau of Amazing Spaces LLC, a Westchester, New York company specializing in custom kitchen design, interior space planning, and custom cabinetry. Pretty sure this family got exactly what they wanted…a kitchen that is as fun as it is functional! I love the easy breezy vibe with pops of color! Aren’t those turquoise glass pendants over the island so fun?? You can see lots more magazine-worthy spaces over at their website! And check out their blog for even more inspiration and ideas!

I love those windows on either side of the stove hood. How interesting!
Also, that pantry door is super cool…really simple elements but they're unique. I love it!

That is just lovely. I'm finding I prefer hints of blue rather than blue as the focal point – coming upon the hood surround is like finding a cabochon aquamarine. Ditto the archway into the family area, mirroring the blue tinge of the sandblasted glass on the pantry door.

I'm smitten. The whole look is soft but still has energy. Love the blue pendants lights over the island and how the upholstered furniture is a just a lighter color. The silver bar stools are gorgeous. i just noticed the striped clock – a single piece that adds more colors. Wish there was a closer picture of the pendant over the sink – I like the change in shape but with a possibly lighter color. Great!

Glass can be used for countertops and workspace areas. Glass countertops can be installed to complete the look. Glass works with almost any existing décor, and it can blend seamlessly into other adjacent living areas. Many new homes that are being built are blending areas so that the house is more socially inviting, and glass lends itself well to this trend.

Oh, beautiful kitchen! I especially like the two different blues being used. The lights are a lovely touch as well.

(I've been lurking for almost a YEAR and this is probably the first time I've commented…I must really love this room, or simply have had too much coffee and sugar today. ;D)
