It’s no wonder this bathroom designed by Barbara Heath and photographed by Erica George Dines was named the Grand Prize Winner in Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles 21st Annual Bath Contest. My eyes were immediately drawn to the beautiful custom built vanity inspired by an antique buffet. Oh, and those stunning vintage Murano glass lamps. So fancy! I’d love to sit back in that tub and stare off at those pretty blue ceilings!
So beautiful…. I am speechless!
That is beautiful. I would love for that to be my bathroom.
Yes please! You never see such glam lamps in a bath, love it. Luxury indeed.
Those lamps are to die for…. I LOVE Murano glass (I found a pic of a red Murano glass chandelier a while back that was fab!).
Totally gorgeous and luxurious looking room.

Oh MY gosh! Stunning!
You do such beautiful posts, Erin. And I am amazed at how you find all of your turquoise! And yes, I'd love to stare up at those ceilings too. I don't even need to be in the tub — I will lie on the floor!

just the right amount of blue!
I especially like the ceiling, so subtle yet pretty.
This bathroom is amazing! I LOVE those lamps!!
those blue lamps are amazing.
Ayone know the manufacturer/name/color of the delicious wall paint??
What a gorgeous bathroom!! Those lamps are beautiful!!
That bathroom is over the top!!!
Its a lovely bathroom, that is for sure, but you know what? I've seen many nicer ones posted on this site. I think all of the elements of this bathroom are gorgeous in and of themselves, but something about the dark wood used only on the vanity (and chair) and kept to one side of the room make the entire thing tip to the right as far as my eye is concerned. Its out of balance. If it were MY room, I would have surrounded the tub in a wood identical in color to the vanity (which is so very pretty), complete with raised panels, and then marine varnished the H-E-double-hockey-stick out of it to keep it looking nice for years. To my eye, that would balance the entire room.
Those lamps are refreshing, and there's another one of those Chinese garden stools I mentioned in a previous comment — just love their use indoors as accessory items! All that said, this bathroom beats both of mine by 100 miles, and if I suddenly came home and found my master bath transformed to look identical to this one, I would not complain! — Kimberly
SO gorgeous! you know what I love most? The toilet is nowhere to be seen. I hate the idea of a custom bathroom, fitted to the nines, with the toilet sitting right next to the gazillion-dollar tub!
Those lamps are gorgeous, btw. So is the ceiling. Oh, heck – so is the whole room!

Ohhhh those lamps.
What I wouldn't do…
Perfection…
I love the idea of a chandalier in a bathroom!

ERIN. This bathroom makes me want to cry. I have devoted a blog post to my emotional response to this bathroom. WHY IS IT SO BEAUTIFUL?!?!
