Dreamy Blue Cabinet

July 15, 2010

Another incredible cupboard this week, courtesy of the lovely Maria of Dreamy Whites. It’s a total show-stopper in that otherwise white room. I can’t think of a better way to show-off her fantastic collection of antique jars, pitchers and grain sacks! The chicken wire is so perfect too! The antique cabinet was actually this color when she bought it, but one side of it wasn’t painted so she had it color matched. I love that she painted the inside a subtle gray…I love blue and gray! To see lots more pictures and to learn the paint colors, head over to Dreamy Whites!

Great photo find, Erin. That cabinet is fantastic. I love how she styled it too, not over done or cluttered and your eyes naturally move from shelf to shelf.

Lovely! I have an antique cupboard that my father refinished over 40 years ago. I would love to paint it similar to this one. Would that be blasphemy?

This blue cabinet is simply adorable! It would surely be suitable for a country or beach home. A nice complement indeed for white or bright interiors. The owner of this blue gem is so lucky.

I’m Erin and I am obsessed with the color turquoise. I started this blog to collect inspirational photos I find of fabulous rooms that feature all of the lovely shades of my favorite color. For even more turquoise, visit my shopping blog Everything Turquoise!
