Tracy’s Eclectic Home Tour

June 11, 2010

Can I tell you how much I love this home belonging to my dear reader Tracy?! I am really digging the mix of modern and vintage, and the fresh color palette that is carried throughout. Each photo has so much to look at, I can just imagine wandering around her home asking, “And where’d you find this?” Isn’t the entryway just the most welcoming that you’ve seen?? Love those cool collections she has going on! Thanks for sharing your home with us Tracy! Have a great weekend everyone! ๐Ÿ™‚

Edit: Tracy graciously supplied us with all the paint info for her home!

Kitchen turquoise – General Paint Saladin
Great Room greens – General Paint French Ditch and Lichen
Foyer turquoise – General Paint Direct Appeal
Master Bath green – General Paint Envy
Downstairs Bath turquoise – General Paint Pillow Soft
Sitting Room (fireplace) turquoise – General Paint National Treasure

This is a great post Erin. What an interesting and fun house. I've got to find ways to get the alphabet into my home! I've always considered myself a collector of words, but sadly they are not displayed. This needs to change.

    Happy Friday!

You're right Erin there is SO much to look at in each picture!
I'm particularly fond of the fun and unexpected elements such as the window frames in the entrance, doors on the mantle and the chandelier and ruffled shower curtain in the bathroom.
It must be a true delight to not only live in this home but also to know Tracy!

    Thank you,

    Felicity

I just found your blog through Hooked on Houses. I too love, love, love the color turquoise, aqua…etc. ๐Ÿ™‚
I thought that this was a new-ish passion, but then I remembered that when I was back (way back) in high school, I painted my bedroom turquoise, and I mean TURQUOISE. Pretty bold…wish I still had the guts. That is why I love your home. It is magnificent!

Tracy, your home is delightful. Easy to see you followed the William Morris philosophy: Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful. LOVE the shower curtain!

The wavy detail mirror in bathroom on June 11, 2010, Tracy's eclectic home tour is fantastic. I would love to hang that mirror in my new pool house bathroom. Any chance you could identify the source for me?

Iโ€™m Erin and I am obsessed with the color turquoise. I started this blog to collect inspirational photos I find of fabulous rooms that feature all of the lovely shades of my favorite color. For even more turquoise, visit my shopping blog Everything Turquoise!
