Can you even believe this home?! Located in Marathon, Florida, the amazing dream home was a huge remodel and expansion project by D’Asign Source, a turnkey design/build firm in the Florida Keys. Not only did they design and do all of the construction on the home (captured by Odd Duck Art), they also provided the interior finishes and furnishings as well as the pool/hardscape/landscape design. The total package! The homeowners wanted to bring the colors and creatures of the ocean into their design, paying homage to the ocean just outside their windows. One of the most incredible ways they did that was with the entryway feature…at the top of the stairs, a saltwater pond was created which flows down from the top to an entryway pond! The jellyfish fixtures hanging above the pond upstairs are just stunning! And that range hood?! Coolest one ever! My favorite thing though, like always, is how they blurred the line between inside, outside and the ocean. Nothing can top that drop dead gorgeous view!! For more beautiful coastal projects by D’Asign Source, go here! And if you’re in the Keys, a visit to their furniture and accessories showroom in Marathon looks like a must!

P.S. The entire home is painted Sherwin-Williams “Sea Salt” SW 6204…one of my favorite paint colors!
