Can I tell you how much I love this home belonging to my dear reader Tracy?! I am really digging the mix of modern and vintage, and the fresh color palette that is carried throughout. Each photo has so much to look at, I can just imagine wandering around her home asking, “And where’d you find this?” Isn’t the entryway just the most welcoming that you’ve seen?? Love those cool collections she has going on! Thanks for sharing your home with us Tracy! Have a great weekend everyone! ๐
Edit: Tracy graciously supplied us with all the paint info for her home!
Kitchen turquoise – General Paint Saladin
Great Room greens – General Paint French Ditch and Lichen
Foyer turquoise – General Paint Direct Appeal
Master Bath green – General Paint Envy
Downstairs Bath turquoise – General Paint Pillow Soft
Sitting Room (fireplace) turquoise – General Paint National Treasure
It's just beautiful! I love the welcome letters – how fun!
This is a great post Erin. What an interesting and fun house. I've got to find ways to get the alphabet into my home! I've always considered myself a collector of words, but sadly they are not displayed. This needs to change.
Happy Friday!
I want to move in! I just adore your blog! It's so beautiful! ๐

What an incredible home, and I'm now obsessed with that shower curtain! ๐
What a fresh, personal and intimate home! So different from my own style-wise, but I love the way this family's personal style and "what matters most" shines through. Thanks for sharing! -Linsey

Love it! Especially the fireplace and the photos of the children. Thanks for sharing! Heather
You're right Erin there is SO much to look at in each picture!
I'm particularly fond of the fun and unexpected elements such as the window frames in the entrance, doors on the mantle and the chandelier and ruffled shower curtain in the bathroom.
It must be a true delight to not only live in this home but also to know Tracy!
Thank you,
Felicity
A really lovely home! Created with much love! The combination of the colors is really perfect! I love the bathroom – the dark kitchen and the chair for reading- I love such little corners for being alone for a while- just me and my books ๐
Enjoy your weekend-
Ines
Whimsical, fun……loads of personality!
I LOVE Tracy's house, I wanna move in! I love the mix of modern and antique.
How does she manage to get such a great mix of modern and vintage in every room? That's what I'm trying desperately to achieve!!
Love the 'displays of affection' (as I call them) that she's collected. The welcome letters are fabulous! I also heart those 2 little globes sitting on the mantel.
Thanks for sharing Tracy and Erin. ๐

I absolutely adore turquoise too! Great blog.
I absolutely love this blog!! Could someone please let me know what paint color was used in the kitchen? I have been going through a turquoise paint dilemma and am smitten with color in that kitchen!
L, Tracy was kind enough to give me all the paint info…I added it to the bottom of the post! ๐
Thank you so much!!
This home is beautiful and welcoming. Love the welcome sign and mix of styles. Perfection!
What a fun house tour! I'm going to be linking to it soon. Thanks, Erin!
I just found your blog through Hooked on Houses. I too love, love, love the color turquoise, aqua…etc. ๐
I thought that this was a new-ish passion, but then I remembered that when I was back (way back) in high school, I painted my bedroom turquoise, and I mean TURQUOISE. Pretty bold…wish I still had the guts. That is why I love your home. It is magnificent!
The "Welcome" letters just melted my heart.
LOVED the welcome letters!! Talked about using the idea in my new house too! http://lauraandconnersteen.blogspot.com/2010/06/totally-copying.html
Tracy, your home is delightful. Easy to see you followed the William Morris philosophy: Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful. LOVE the shower curtain!
I must have that shower curtain…
We're buying our first house this month and your kitchen is really inspiring me right now.
The wavy detail mirror in bathroom on June 11, 2010, Tracy's eclectic home tour is fantastic. I would love to hang that mirror in my new pool house bathroom. Any chance you could identify the source for me?
