Rustic meets retro in this fabulous pool house kitchen designed by Jenny Rausch, owner of Karr Bick Kitchen & Bath out of St. Louis, Missouri (captured by Denash Photography)! The turquoise Northstar appliances are definitely the focal point, but how about that incredible tile?! Love how it goes all the way up the wall! The soaring ceiling and wood beams are fantastic too. Such a fun space! Check out more beautiful space by Karr Bick here! Love turquoise? Visit my shopping blog Everything ... View Post

Signature Kitchens
This narrow galley kitchen designed by Liz Firebaugh of Signature Kitchens out of Petoskey, Michigan (photographed by Jim Yochum) is not only gorgeous, it's super functional and makes use of every square inch! Love all the natural light flowing in, splash of blue on the walls, sink and faucet, the lighting and the cabinetry–especially the glass cabinets! The pass-through window is a smart addition too! You can see lots more beautifully designed spaces from Signature Kitchens right over ... View Post
Kitchen & Bath Details
I am so in love with this coastal kitchen by Kitchen & Bath Details out of Mattapoisett, Massachusetts, I can barely type right now! Some of you might recognize the dreamy space–it was part of Coastal Living’s 2006 “Idea House”. I adore the island painted Benjamin Moore’s Yarmouth Blue (cabinets are painted Sherwin-Williams Dover White). They used Yarmouth Blue as an accent inside the glass cabinetry too. Looks incredible illuminated! What else...the ceiling, cabinetry, lighting, appliances ... View Post
Virginia Kitchens + Harry Braswell Inc.
Wow, this kitchen! I cannot handle how much I love it!! The entire home was renovated by Harry Braswell Inc. out of Alexandria, Virginia, who worked with designer Erin Hoopes of Virginia Kitchens to create the dreamiest kitchen ever, as well as the the custom millwork throughout the home, photographed here by Greg Hadley. I think the turquoise rug got my attention first, I've been wanting that one forever. Then the shimmery aqua backsplash (from Susan Jablon Mosaics, but no longer stocked on ... View Post
Cynthia’s Kitchen Remodel
Lots of light with white cabinetry, turquoise tiles, and Carrera marble countertops...this is what my favorite kitchens are made of! Cynthia of Meringue Designs doesn't design kitchens for a living (really cool, modern designs for machine embroidery is her business), but with the help of Orem, Utah's Benjamin Blackwelder Cabinetry, she recently remodeled her dark, inefficient kitchen into her dream one. She and her husband Paul lived in their old kitchen for 5 years, figuring out exactly how ... View Post

Key West Kitchen
I was so excited to spot this cheery kitchen photographed by Tria Giovan on MyHomeIdeas. I'm still so obsessed with yellow and turquoise! Can you imagine how blah this room would be if the cabinets weren't painted that pretty aqua?? I love the open shelves too, what a great way to display that colorful collection of dishware. Cute cute cute!(Wall paint: Hibiscus (2027-50) by Benjamin Moore; Cabinet paint: Aquatint (6936) by Sherwin-Williams) ... View Post
Kitchen of the Year
Hold onto your horses, this kitchen is a true standout! Megan of A Life's Design shared it and another winner of the 2010 Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles Kitchen of the Year Contest. Obviously this beauty designed by Jo Rabaut was MY personal favorite. So much space, ample storage, a dreamy color palette...the stuff dreams are made of! I never knew I needed a butler pantry (or a double trough sink)....but I'd LOVE to have this one! Head over here to read all about this serene kitchen of the ... View Post
