It's no wonder this bathroom designed by Barbara Heath and photographed by Erica George Dines was named the Grand Prize Winner in Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles 21st Annual Bath Contest. My eyes were immediately drawn to the beautiful custom built vanity inspired by an antique buffet. Oh, and those stunning vintage Murano glass lamps. So fancy! I'd love to sit back in that tub and stare off at those pretty blue ceilings! ... View Post
Peaceful & Pretty
I am overwhelmed with a sense of serenity when I stare into these beautiful photographs taken by Emily Gilbert. Designed by Ali Schwarz and styled by Rebecca Omweg, the peaceful palette and beautiful furnishings are absolutely heavenly. I just wish I could magically transport myself into the last photo and work from that desk all day. Not a bad view! Of course I'd turn around every few minutes, because the view in the other direction is equally as lovely! ... View Post
Morgan Harrison Home
I first fell in love with Michelle Morgan Harrison Home, a design firm based in New Canaan, CT, when I saw this beach home (last few pictures above) so long ago. I think I can actually credit Michelle for my first taste of the scrumptiousness that is aqua and orange. She recently re-launched her website, and it's filled with many more fabulous images filled with fabulous color. How stunning is the room with the peacock palette?! I'm especially loving the chair upholstered in Schumacher Chiang ... View Post
Summer Thornton Design
How posh and pretty darn cool is this Chicago penthouse designed by Summer Thornton Design?! I just love her philosophy: "To make the design process unpretentious, fun and fresh. Mixing high and low, rough and polished, classic and irreverent, her designs utilize contrast to engage the senses". Check her portfolio, you'll see exactly that. But before you go, scroll back up and look at the first image again. I died and went to heaven... ... View Post
Janet Simon
These bedrooms from the portfolio of New Jersey designer Janet Simon are nothing short of beautiful! The rooms are so serene, perfect for unwinding after a long day. That first bedroom in particular is completely stunning...my gosh look at those windows! I LOVE the headboard and bedskirt fabric in the last image too. Have a look at her portfolio here, the living spaces are equally as beautiful! ... View Post
Buckingham Interiors
The sitting room in this home designed Julia Edelmann of Buckingham Interiors + Design has to be one of the neatest I've seen! I am absolutely dying here over that fabric (Flowershow from Christopher Carr), the colors and oversize botanical print are complete perfection. (And the chairs look comfy too!) How awesome are those barstools in the kitchen?! They're covered in vinyl, but the nail heads keep them looking très cool! See more of the home here! ... View Post
Wren’s Reno and Giveaway Winner!
You may recognize this beautiful nursery from a long time ago, it's one of my all-time favorites. But Holly of Life in the Fun Lane has made some changes since I first shared Wren's room, and I thought they were so cute I had to share. I just loved all the white, with the beautiful dark floors and touches of turquoise, but they've acquired some colorful fun pieces that bring more life into the space. Isn't that antique hand-painted cabinet incredible?! Holly first spotted it for $1100 but a year ... View Post
