Taking her color cues from the home’s ocean-side setting, interior designer Kathy Marshall of K. Marshall Design gave this Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts home a fresh, coastal cool aesthetic that I absolutely love! The kitchen is headed straight to my “dream file” with its blue cabinets and island, Galbraith & Paul wallpapered accent wall and custom blue glass pendants. I think my favorite element might be the cozy breakfast nook though! I adore the fun mix of blue throw pillows set against the white shiplap. And the breezy blue wall color (Borrowed Light by Farrow & Ball) is total perfection!! The whole space opens right up into such a fun family room. So much to love there too, especially the great built-ins! You can see more photos by Michael J. Lee and read an article all about the kitchen (with sources) over here.
