This Washington DC home designed by Erika Bonnell Interiors is one for the books! Not only is it absolutely gorgeous, it’s totally livable and family-friendly too! I’m in love with the doses of drama, especially the fabulous turquoise powder coated hood from Vent-A-Hood in the kitchen–I’ve never seen anything like it! What a brilliant way to work strong color into the space and stay balanced with what’s going on elsewhere in the house. So loving the turquoise built-in shelving in the family room too, and the cozy window seat! And how beautiful is the breakfast area?! The banquet, rug, chandelier…all total perfection. Don’t even get me started on the master suite. What a dream!! There’s still a lot left to see of the home, finish your tour with more photos by Stacy Zarin Goldberg right over here!
We’ve had a busy holiday week and are actually headed out on vacation today! While we aren’t headed to the ocean, we are staying in the north woods of Wisconsin on the shore of Lake Superior and I couldn’t be more excited! I’m told there’s no internet so I’m planning on completely unplugging the next week. But maybe you’ll catch me on Instagram if I’m lucky! 😉

That vent hood is making me re-think the plan to not put a vent hood in our kitchen. I love the colour and the strip of metal. Gorgeous home!

Really curious what was used on the ceiling in the living room. It looks like grasscloth, but I’m not sure.
