Considering Nantucket is one of my most favorite places ever, I was totally inspired by this charming York Harbor, Maine home belonging to artist and stationery designer Sara Fitz! Filled with a calming neutral palette of creams and sea foam accented with pops of color–especially classic Nantucket red, the vibe of the home is cozy and inviting, with a great mix of new and passed-down pieces. I had a serious “hold the phone” moment with that stair runner. Not only would it make me smile every time I went up the steps, it’s one of those things I know the kiddos will remember forever! Speaking of kiddos….how fabulous is that playroom? Loving those built-in beds! Sleepover central! I am a longtime reader and love your blog! I have a suggestion – it might be impossible based on the blog template you use, but… I would love it if your commentary was BEFORE the pictures! Then you could put more boring lists like sources etc, down below. I almost always scroll all the way down to read about the post, then go back to the top and look at the pictures. Just a thought.
