This beach house kitchen designed by Cheryl Kees Clendenon of Pensacola-based In Detail Interiors inspired me on so many levels! Located in Fort Morgan, Alabama across from the ocean, the colorful kitchen (captured by Greg Riegler) is not only stylish and functional, it is also budget-conscious! The designer splurged on the striking counter-to-ceiling wall of Hirsch Glass turquoise tiles, which mirrors the ocean views on other walls of the home. I absolutely love it paired with the roman shades made with a beautiful Romo fabric! The different colored cabinetry adds a ton of dimension to the space too, and is a great way to mix up the design elements without spending much more money. The pop of color from the single teal upper cabinet painted Calypso Blue by Benjamin Moore, the designer’s signature hue, is fantastic! Lovely, except for the dark brown stools ?
Where did they get the stainless shelves?
They weren’t listed in the sources in the article, but they look pretty much just like these!
Barbara. This is a rental for the owner and was an amazing budget project so yes some things were sacrified for the budget. They needed to be very very sturdy for the abuse rentals get. This is the value of a good designer…knowing where to put the bulk of the budget for the most impact!
Absolutely gorgeous. Where can I find the hanging lights in the kitchen?
Thank you.
