I’ve been admiring the work of interior designer Allison Elebash for so long, I was thrilled to see her Mount Pleasant, South Carolina home featured in Charleston magazine! The designer was inspired to take more risks with vibrant hues as well as blending colors and patterns after a four-year stint of living and working on the the island of St. Kitts in the Caribbean. And as you can see from the double front porches, courtyard and bluestone patio, you can tell outdoor living is just as important to her as indoor…I love how she blurred the line between the two! Every space is drop dead beautiful, but I cannot stop drooling over the guest house. The casual vibe and fun mix of patterns is so up my alley! Nice post. Too bad I really couldnt enjoy it. Is there anything you can do about the annoying pop up ads at the bottom of your post ? I read you through Bloglovin’ and yours is the only blog I subscribe to that has ads you CANT CLOSE. I cant even see an entire picture without an ad covering it. Anyone else having that issue? Hope you can help

Hi Bernie- Thanks for letting me know about the ads! That’s really odd the ad is covering the picture, I definitely do not want that to be the case. The bottom ad you should be able to close and get rid of by clicking on the X or little arrows on the side. I’m not sure why you aren’t seeing that as an option. I haven’t heard from anyone else this being the case, and it seems to work fine through my Bloglovin. I’ll mention the issue to the ad provider though…if it’s happening to you, it’s probably happening to other people too, so I appreciate you letting me know!

Love this house and your blog! Anyway to find out the paint color in the main living room that looks like it is carried throughout most of the house?

Hi Cacky, Thanks for your kind words–so glad you loved this home! Unfortunately the magazine article didn’t source any paint colors. You could always try contacting the designer through her website to see if she has it in her records!
