Nifelle Design Fine Interiors

January 14, 2014

What an all out gorgeous bedroom! Jennifer Leonard, founder of the Portland, Oregon-based firm Nifelle Design Fine Interiors, got it all right in this elegant space. I really love the turquoise and gold accents and how the tweed fabric on the chair pulls all the colors together! LOVE the paintings by Portland artist Annie Meyer and turquoise ottoman too! This room is just the tip of the iceberg….you can tour the rest of the beautiful home with more photos by David Papazian right over here! And read an article from Portrait Magazine all about the home here!

Love that space! The yellow paired with the turquoise is so happy, while still feeling updated and elegant. Perfect. And I love the Jimmy Choos, as well!

I love this. I wish I knew the bedroom wall color. It's a nice neutral.

Love this room, the turquoise mixes so well with the other colors and the subdued woods and other subtle tones, it's the perfect mid-range tone of the color. It's a very calm, serene, and classily understated decor – *except* for the obvious "look at me, I can afford expensive accessories!!!" 'product placement' of the Chanel and Choo items. I've never seen someone display their pricey shoes and handbags so blatantly, so prominently and so groan-inducingly out of context in home dec pictures before, it's rather startling, and confusing – like "why would you do that?" I'ts not a closet or wardrobe shoot. It's almost like parking your Porsche in the living room …

I love the doona covers, bed linen and cushions in this room. I especially appreciate how the quilt is white giving a neutral base and the pop of colour comes from the cushions.
