Leslie Tetrev

September 13, 2013

It’s been an incredible last few weeks with our sweetheart Wesley…I can’t believe how big he’s getting–and that’s he’s over 3 weeks old now! (I’ll share some pics below!) I’m so thankful that I work from home, and so thankful that the little guy is such a good sleeper so I can get back to sharing some turquoise with you!

Designer Leslie Tetrev of Inside Effects out of Little Rock, Arkansas was inspired by the colors in the granite countertop when picking out paint colors for this beautiful kitchen. (She used Sherwin-Williams Silvermist for the cabinets, and a custom-mixed paint similar to SW’s Black Fox on the island.) I love the serene, cool look of the cabinets with the basket-weave Calcutta marble tile on the backsplash! So loving the windows too! See more photos by Nancy Nolan and read all about the space over at At Home in Arkansas!

And now for some photos of our beautiful, sweet baby…oh I love him to pieces!

Before I sign off for the weekend, I want to thank all of my awesome guest bloggers for filling in for me so I could have extra snuggle time with this cutie! (And the ones yet to come, I’ll need it!) And thank all of you for your sweet comments and emails! Little Wesley could not have been more welcomed into this world!!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone! 🙂

Awww, congrats Erin! He's gorgeous, as expected. And so is that kitchen! 🙂 I love marble in a creative pattern like that, and something like basketweave is a nice non-trendy choice that fits with the antiqueyness of the cabinets. (Sure, let's pretend that's a word.) I also love the long silver bar hardware on the cabinet doors (though I'd put it with a sleek non-paneled door, myself. Think of how much that would dress up a cheap melamine rental unit's cabinetry, ya know?)

    Lovely!

Oh my gosh he is so precious! Your not going to believe it, but just before I got out of bed a couple of minutes ago (in AZ it was 7 am)I was dreaming of holding a tiny baby while I was trying to work.
    Congratulations on your blessing!

Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful baby boy! I'm one month away from the arrival of my own. How exciting!

I always love to see the beautiful turquoise decor you post, and this lovely kitchen is no exception. I really like the way the pale shade of aqua is paired with the dark grey, as well as that gorgeous tile backsplash.

    Enjoy your precious baby!
