Polhemus Savery DaSilva

January 11, 2013

This home rendered me downright speechless! Designed by the Polhemus Savery DaSilva (dream-makers if you ask me!) and photographed by Brian Vanden Brink, the home is coastal perfection inside and out. From the incredible gardens, fabulous pool, and picture-perfect shutters outside (painted Benjamin Moore Hazy Blue), to the light-filled rooms, nautical touches (love those cute pendants over the island!) and super-cute furniture inside. The backsplash is totally drool-worthy too. And those shutters. Did I mention those shutters??

A funny fact about this house…I actually saw it in person a couple years ago–on my birthday of all days! Chris and I were on vacation just driving around Cape Cod before dinner and happened upon it. Yeah, I could have stared all day. So imagine my thrill when I found these incredible photos!

Just for fun, here’s the fog-filled pic I took that day!

For tons more coastal dream homes, visit Polhemus Savery DaSilva! (Visit this old post of mine with another fabulous home they designed too!) And if you’re as big of a fan of shingled houses as I am, check out their book Shingled Houses in the Summer Sun!
Have a fabulous weekend everyone!!!

That shingled house is so beautiful, especially the interiors. That brilliant architect who built it is so talented. I would live there in a heartbeat.
