Imagine: You and 31 of your closest friends and family, staying together in this amazing (and huge!) oceanfront beach house in Virgina Beach! The 12 bedroom, 13 1/2 bathroom home was designed by Emily Sheipe of EA Interior Designs out of Chesapeake, Virginia. She chose a lovely shade of turquoise (Benjamin Moore’s Palladian Blue…anyone guess that right??) to bring the sea inside, and filled the home with comfortable and durable furnishings perfectly suited for big family gatherings. I can’t even imagine the coordination required for designing a home that big, but she sure did a great job!! If you’re looking for a rental that sleeps 32 people (well 31, since I’ll probably have to join you!), visit the real-estate site here. And to read all about the home and see more pics, including the bedrooms and bathrooms, just head on over to Emily’s blog here!
It’s time now to announce the winner of the Junk Bonzana VIP tickets!!
Have a fantastic weekend everyone!! 🙂

That's my hometown, and a gorgeous home. Perfect picture of Virginia Beach. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
I lived in the Hampton Roads area for almost 20 years. Great homes and they are there for one day "party" rentals to full summer stays. This is the area where I spent my Real Estate career!
Loving the turquoise glass tile in the kitchen.
The pelican print works so well in the kitchen also, I love the unexpected in a room!
Wow! There is nothing about that house that I don't like. If I were a gazillionaire, I would certainly try to buy it! Love the pelican print in the kitchen and over the stairs, the furniture and the tile!
Hi, Erin!
Beautiful house, wow…
I also loved the tiles and the lights in the kitchen… Loved the wall colours… the bedroom…
And had to go back to see the pelican picture!
Have a great weekend too!
LOVE that painting in the kitchen! Wow! What a great touch!
Wow, I would love to stay here! That view form the bedroom.. a-maz-ing!!!
Oh, how beautiful! The backsplash is lovely—almost got it for this house but went with something else.
And I DID recognize Palladian Blue—I'm looking at it on my own wall right now! 😉
I guessed the paint color right!! 🙂 I just painted my girl cave that color and now am painting my kitchen in that color. It is PERFECT! What a beautiful house!!

im drooling over that kitchen back splash and that crane artwork in the kitchen!
oh, that glass tile backsplash! Sigh … I saw an all-white bathroom that used a strip of that glass tile around the top perimeter; I want to re-do my bath like that some day. The entire home is jaw-droppingly beautiful!
I really like the calm colors. Wow! this page really gave me a lot of ideas. Thanks!
Lovely. Looks like a fabulous home!
Any shade of blue are always appealing to my eyes. I really can't resist any interior with a blue color theme.
Gorgeous! Especially love the heron painting in the first picutre!
Hi Erin. I love Palladian Blue! Would you happen to know the paint color of the adjoining wall in the staircase? It looks like the perfect compliment to the blue. I enjoy reading your blog!
Yes!! The neutral color that is going up the stairs in the foyer and in the living area on the 3rd floor (where the blue, cream, and white fabrics are) is Benjamin Moore- Manchester Tan- HC- 81. The trim and door color throughout the house is Benjamin Moore- White Dove- OC- 17.
WOW….what a view!
Erin, thank you for writing such a great post and for including my design firm, EA Interior Designs, Co. in your fantastic blog! Also, a big thanks to everyone who had such nice comments to say about my designs!
You are too kind for words! I am so happy you found us.
You have to understand that how important to embark on paving your driveway. Summit best paving and masonry for your driveway. It will get a good atmosphere around your house.
Beautifully done! We install decks and patios by trade but someone asked us to paint the inside of there living room the other day. Painting is not what I am used to but this helped for inspiration thanks for the read!
