Richard Bubnowski Design

March 9, 2012

A tour through an incredible beach house is always the best way to end the week! This oceanfront vacation home along one of New Jersey’s barrier islands was designed by Richard Bubnowski Design out of Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey and photographed by Sam Oberter. Stunning or what?! The interior designer on the project was done by Elizabeth B. Gillin Interiors and she did an incredible job making the casually elegant home feel light and fresh, just the way a beach home should feel! Did you notice the incredible blue coffered ceiling in the living room??? That’s my favorite part of the whole home! Visit Richard Bubnowski Design for even more design inspiration! Have a FABULOUS weekend everyone!!

Absolutely amazing. My question is what do these people do for a living? Because I might need to switch jobs. 🙂

The happiest summers of my life were spent in this area with my dear friend Claudia and her family! I hope the people who own this will be able to look back 40 years from now and feel the same way.

As I looked through the pictures I thought 'wow, this is so my design and decor style. I feel so at home.' Imagine my surprise when I read it's the Jersey Shore, which is exactly where I live. I knew there was something welcoming and familiar about it! Ha love it!!

I know this house!! We drive around or walk and try to imagine what these people do for a living and how can we make that kind of money! Anyway, I love that I get to see the interior! Can't wait to show my husband.

    Hi Erin,
Just perusing all your wonderful posts looking for more inspiration and catching up on what you've been up to. I first saw Richard's work on Houzz and we were so inspired by this home that we decided to take our home's living room craftsman coffered ceiling to a beachy level when we renovated this year.
    Thanks for sharing!
