High Point Market

October 21, 2011

I couldn’t be happier that it’s finally Friday! After not feeling well most of the week, I finally have my energy back and am feeling good. Our house is now officially on the market and with most of the projects completed, it’s never looked as nice! And to top things off, this weekend I am headed to High Point Market in North Carolina. I’m not a designer (just a big fan of this sort of thing), so I was super excited when I received an invitation to attend this fall. I can’t wait to see all the new products out there and gain a ton of inspiration from the showrooms. Are any of you going? Any tips for this first timer? I’ll be back next Wednesday…so be prepared for the full scoop! In the meantime, I’ve got some great guest bloggers lined up for your turquoise pleasure! 🙂

PS- Don’t you love this photo by Micky Hoyle from House and Leisure?

I won't be there this year, but I've got about 10 High Point Markets under my belt. My best words of advice? Wear comfortable, cute shoes!!! And, if you have a chance, make dinner reservations at Marisol. And, save room for morning Krispie Kremes. There's an old-school Krispie Kreme store in downtown High Point. LOVE when the light's on!!!

Enjoy! Can't wait to read all about your adventure!!

I don't know if Bungalow 5 will be there (if not, Creative Visions (showroom @ The Mart in Chicago) will be and they carry Bung5)…anyway, the reason I say that is every time I see the Brigitte line I think of you.

Glad you are feeling better Erin and sorry as I've never been to Highpoint Market so do not have any tips for you. (Wish I did though.)

Also good luck on the sale of your home. -Brenda-

This is JUST TOO WEIRD. I just arrived to North Carolina for – you guessed it – High Point Market. I'm in television, and shooting there for a design show. What perfect timing, huh?

Will you be there this weekend?

I used to live in Greensboro, NC, worked in High Point for several years and did graphic design work for several of the furniture companies. Enjoy yourself. So fun to see all the new stuff. Looking forward to seeing your favorites.
