Jane Coslick

September 9, 2011

I’ve never met a hanging porch bed I didn’t like. One designed by Jane Coslick? All dressed up in cute turquoise fabric?? Overlooking the sea??? Heaven help me! These photos by Richard Leo Johnson for a feature in Coastal Living a couple years back are actually part of one of my most favorite homes ever, designed by Jane of course (I blogged about it here). Fall may have officially arrived, but this delightful porch is keeping the summer vibe alive for me! I hope you all have a great weekend…I know I’m going to milk it for all it’s worth! 🙂

Gorgeous! I've recently discovered that I too am a lover of turquoise – most of my jewellery consists of it!

    That porch is gorgeous…

love the happy feel to it and at the same time very calming, I know… not quite possible but Jane did it.

I'd be happy to take a nap in that porch bed ♥

Oh, I'm with you, Erin…that porch and the furniture is gorgeous and I wish I were there right now! Well, I've had fun catching up on your blog! Your photos are always so beautiful. And I can't wait to see your photos from when you go to Massachusetts in a couple of weeks! I've been to Martha's Vineyard, but never to Nantucket. Please take lots of pics for us! (If you go to my blog, you will see MV photos on my right sidebar that my son took when we were there.) I have tons more that I should post one day. One thing when you go: Definitely visit the little gingerbread cottages in Oak Bluffs, you will love them. And if you can, go for breakfast at The Black Dog and have their home-made sausages — DELICIOUS! If I think of anything else, I will email you. And there is a store on one of the shopping streets that sells bags… go in and look – some are funky and INEXPENSIVE! I wish I could remember the name of the store…
    Well, have fun!!!!!!!!
    Best,
    Gloria

    Does the owner rent out?
Wow, to be that close to the water everyday and look at various shades of the blues….You can almost feel the tranquility just by looking at the picture.

I agree with Gloria, take p'tures of the cute, little cottages on MV, one might be a pretty blueish color:).

Oh my goodness! This is one of my favorite places yet! What I wouldn't give to spend an afternoon or weekend in that adorable little camper. The styling is absolutely stunning.

I’m Erin and I am obsessed with the color turquoise. I started this blog to collect inspirational photos I find of fabulous rooms that feature all of the lovely shades of my favorite color. For even more turquoise, visit my shopping blog Everything Turquoise!
