I never get tired of looking at perfection! One of my favorites of 2010 was this Arkansas home designed by Tobi Fairley. I’ve already shared images from the home, including this breakfast room with you before (how could you forget the Marjorie Skouras chandelier!) but I was excited to find more images of the kitchen in Tobi’s portfolio. The painted hardwood floors are absolutely fab-u-lous! (They’re painted Wythe Blue by Benjamin Moore and Wool Skein by Sherwin-Williams.) The result is playful and unique, but the perfect color selections make the room beautifully serene too. LOVE!
Oh my goodness how CUTE! Love it!
i could put that chandelier on a plate and eat it with some syrup. it is so delicious to look at. fun, playful, GORGEOUS!!!
want want want! thanks for sharing x
I fantasize about having a painted floor in my kitchen. This would be the one I'd want. Does anyone else ever wonder why designers choose colors from different paint brands? BM has over 200 different whites. Wonder what was so special about Wool Skein? No offense to SW intended. After all, our beloved Rainwashed is SW.
LOVELY!!!
what a stunning space! We love looking at your blog each day – thanks for the inspiration. We gave you a little award on our blog. Congrats!!

When I saw the title of your post I was skeptical, but after looking at the pictures, it is absolutely beautiful!
I love those painted floors! The whole kitchen is beautiful. Wythe Blue is one of my favorite colors. I've done several pieces in that color and never tire of it.
Love the floor – Wythe blue is a great color. But also love those beautiful bar stools!!
That's a gorgeous color of blue. I'm going to write that one down for a future project. Great inspiration.
I have my eyes on that chandelier. so gorgeous.
Hi, Erin!
How are you doing? I hope you're having a good week so far.
This is so pretty! Isn't it? I love it! I just wonder how it would be to maintain? Especially with 2 small children playing with their toys on the floor all the time. Maybe after, when they're bigger. 🙂
By the way, today I've posted about Windsor Smith. Do you like her? If you do, please go take a look and let me know what you think,ok?
Have a great day,
