One day I’m going to spend the summer in Nantucket. Or least a weekend. All I ever see are beautiful cottages and fabulous gardens coming from there. Take this peaceful and cozy home belonging to Boston interior designer Nancy Serafini for example. Each room has so many neat elements to look at. And how cheery is that green guest room? I had to include it (I swear I spy turquoise in the valance and shams!) Head over to Traditional Home to see more photos by Bruce Buck, including the path of crushed seashells that leads to the arbored garden entrance. You just don’t find that in Minnesota!

I love the juxtaposition from the rug to the hardwood floors – gorgeous!
I am so in love with that headboard on the final picture! It looks smashing with the apple green~ I just wanna cozy up in there.

you do realize that my daily dose of turquoise has led me to decorate a bedroom in green & turquoise.. I absolutely love the bedding in that last pic to compliment..
Thanks Erin .. Vitania

I spent a glorious 8 days in Nantucket and I am aching to go back again. Everything about it is amazing. I am in the UK and have my blue Nantucket plaque proudly on show just waiting for the day when I can go back and add to it!
I love the paint colour in the main room picture, wish I could find one similar here.
Love the final bedroom–the lime and turquoise are incredible against each other, and the headboard and blanket look a lot like Anthropologie–one of my favorites! And thanks for the mention!
oh yummy – i love the color combo of apple green and turquoise being brought throughout the whole house – awesome!
