Harper Construction

November 13, 2015

Not only would this beautiful Kiawah Island, South Carolina home renovated by Chris Harper of Harper Construction be the perfect place to entertain, I can’t imagine a better place to just hang out and relax–the sand and sea color palette is so soothing! I love how the turquoise throw pillows, artwork and accent chairs brighten up the neutral palette of the main floor, while the pretty paint colors upstairs give the bedrooms a restful, beachy vibe. The natural elements throughout add great texture too…just another nod to the coastal locale! So many great architectural details too! Finish your tour with more photos by William Quarles right over here!

Have a great weekend everybody!

Whats with the odd placement of the heat registers in the floor? Terrible.

It's a beautiful home but like the commenter above, the placement of the heat registers is odd and there appears to be a huge gray fuse box in the center of a wall in one of the bedrooms.

I have the light fixture. I got it from Ashleytaylorhome.com. There are other sites that sell them but it was cheapest there. It’s actually HUGE. And I’m not sure where the table came from but I have one that’s nearly identical (just a different color) from Pottery Barn.

[…] The next picture shows a unique light fixture. I really want to try and replicate this fixture at a fraction of the cost. I’m thinking making it out of some wood? Or if Hubby feels like helping me out, weld some steel… Right now I have a ceiling fan which I am trying to get moved to another room. I am not really a ‘fan’ of a ceiling fan in my dining room!
