Fisherman’s Wife Furniture

November 12, 2015

If you need a giant dose of inspiration to get you started on your next project, a visit to Fisherman’s Wife Furniture is a must! Kaylor Little turned her hobby of rescuing furniture into a full time job, documenting her furniture makeovers and DIY projects on her blog (lucky for us)! She’s also in the midst of updating her waterfront cottage in the Galveston, Texas area. I absolutely love what she’s done so far in her kitchen and dining room, captured here by Ever & Anon Photography! The sea-inspired glass tile backsplash is my favorite thing ever, but all of the DIY projects she and her husband have done are remarkable. Visit Kaylor’s blog to see before pics, get tutorials and sources for both the kitchen and dining room!

I love it when you feature small kitchens in smaller homes. Not all of us have 2500 square foot homes and it is so nice to see what can be done in a smaller space.

This is very nicely done space. I also like that you've featured a smaller space in a "regular" home that's not a McMansion. A home like this one is probably attainable by the average family, as such, her remodel of the space is both interesting and inspiring to the average person living in a home that is more modest than those usually featured on this blog. Her kitchen and dining space are perfectly serviceable and she'd done a nice job with the flow and décor of the two rooms. Kudos!

Don't you just love how whitewashing storage cupboards make a living space look that much cleaner! I think what you've done with your kitchen space is fantastic!

This shade of turquoise is lovely. It's nice how a little splash of colour in a room can make the area feel a little bit more inviting isn't it.

Thanks for another informative site. The place else may just I am getting that type of info written in such a perfect method? I have a challenge that I am simply now running on, and I’ve been at the look out for such info.

I’m Erin and I am obsessed with the color turquoise. I started this blog to collect inspirational photos I find of fabulous rooms that feature all of the lovely shades of my favorite color. For even more turquoise, visit my shopping blog Everything Turquoise!
