Wine country meets Lowcountry! This incredible Beaufort, SC home was designed by Reu Architects who partnered with homeowners Rob and Lydia Mondavi–the family behind Napa Valley's Mondavi Winery. The couple recently debuted the Mondavi Home Collection, using their home as a idea house. The real showstopper is undoubtedly the reclaimed wood throughout...simply gorgeous! But the paint colors are absolutely beautiful too! The 22-color palette "represents the varying hue of ocean tides with each ... View Post
One Room Challenge – Week 2
We got the floor in! (No trim yet, obviously!) I'm not sure when that was going to happen if it weren't for the ORC! We actually bought the flooring way over a year ago. Chris had been keeping his eye on Craigslist...since it is such a small space we were hoping someone might have some extra left over from a project. And the patience paid off–we scored this flooring for a great price! We love the hand-scraped look and how the color looks with the walls (BM Sonoma Skies). I can't say I had ... View Post
DLB Custom Home Design
A breezy color palette is perfect for this waterfront Daniel Island home designed by architect Damien Busillo! DLB Custom Home Design specializes in designing custom high-end homes throughout Charleston and the Barrier Islands of the Lowcountry. The architectural details here what really stood out to me–I especially love all of the ceilings! Isn't the backyard just a dream too?! The porches, pergolas, and pool, oh my! There's lots more to see, so go here to look at the architect's entire ... View Post

LC Interior Design
This has to be one of the chicest nurseries I've seen! The sweet space was designed by Laura Covington, an interior designer out of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and photographed by Nick Pironio. Laura actually designed the space for her son Carr who was born last July! They waited to find out if the baby was a boy or girl, so she kept the nursery neutral with pops of turquoise. I love that she converted the closet into a changing station and framed the opening with curtains to mirror the ... View Post
One Room Challenge – Week 1
Today is a big day! It's Week 1 of the One Room Challenge, the 6-week room makeover hosted by Linda of Calling it Home. I was honored when Linda asked me if I'd like to participate! I've followed previous challenges and have always been so inspired! For those of you not familiar with the ORC, basically it's a group of 20 bloggers who commit to decorating one room over a 6-week period while documenting the transformation and checking in each Wednesday with their progress. As you know (new ... View Post
Minty House
How darling is this?! The delightful kitchen belongs to the owner of Minty House, a gorgeous Polish blog and online shop filled with pretty pastel imports from Scandinavia and Denmark! The KitchenAid mixer might be my favorite "accessory" here–we have the same one and LOVE it! The shelves are great too though, what a perfect way to show off the cute collection of dinnerware! She's actually changed things up a little since these photos were taken, see the update here! But definitely keep your eye ... View Post
Charmean Neithart Interiors
So many incredible details to take in! This Classic Spanish home designed by Pasadena, California interior designer Charmean Neithart and photographed by Erika Bierman was a complete re-model, with a flawless blend of old and new. Take the unique molding on the hood in the kitchen for example...the architectural artifact was an early 20th century carved beam! Such a brilliant idea to repurpose it on the hood! And how smart is the dog-washing station?? Our bulldog would get a lot of use out of ... View Post
