Kat Liebschwager Interiors

January 16, 2015

When I first laid eyes on that turquoise front door, I knew I was in for a treat! This 1930's Richmond, Virginia home designed by Kat Liebschwager Interiors and photographed by Gordon Beall is colorful, fun and sophisticated–a reflection of color-loving homeowners with one fantastic art collection! It was actually the large painting in the back porch that inspired the cheery color palette and the turquoise woven throughout. I think the that porch might be my favorite space in the home...it's so ... View Post

Tracery Interiors

January 15, 2015

You guys know how much I love Paige Sumblin Schnell and her firm Tracery Interiors (and store in Rosemary Beach, Florida!), so I was excited as ever to learn they have a book coming out! If this gulf-front Cinnamon Shore, Texas home featured in the book is any indication, it will definitely be one to add to our libraries! These beautiful photos were taken by Jean Allsopp, with styling by Lynn Nesmith and architecture by Mark Schnell. Love those pops of turquoise on the crisp neutral background! ... View Post

Stonecroft Homes

January 14, 2015

There are beautiful homes, and there are beautiful homes...ones we can only dream about living in! This incredible country house in the Harrods Glen subdivision in Prospect, Kentucky by custom luxury home builder Stonecroft Home definitely falls into that second category! The home was inspired by shingle style homes in the Northeast and is absolutely brimming with stunning architectural details! I'm loving the serene color palette used throughout too! There are more photos by Tim Furlong Jr. to ... View Post

Melissa Haynes Design

January 13, 2015

Can you believe this is a sorority house?! The lucky ladies of Tri Delta at the University of Arkansas hired chapter alumna and interior designer Melissa Haynes of MH Design to give their 1931 Tudor-style home a whole new look. I am loving how fresh and bright it is, not to mention sophisticated and beautiful! To top it off, the well-designed spaces are totally functional and durable, a must for such a busy home! You can see more photos by Nancy Nolan, learn sources, and read all about the ... View Post

Coastal Style Blog

January 12, 2015

Anyone else drooling?! My newest obsession is Coastal Style, the Australian blog run by Melissah Weigal–an interior designer out of Anglesea, Victoria. Not only is her turquoise-filled beach home (photographed above by Matt Lord) drop dead gorgeous...but her blog, Instagram and Pinterest are all endless amounts of coastal inspiration and eye candy too! But back to her home, so bright and airy with a serene sand and sea color palette brought to life with pops of turquoise! I can't get over that ... View Post

McAlpine Booth and Ferrier Interiors

January 9, 2015

It has been one heck of a bitterly cold, snowy week here in Minnesota so I can't help but daydream more than normal about being somewhere warm by the water! This secluded hilltop home on Vieques (an island off of Puerto Rico) designed by McAlpine Booth & Ferrier Interiors may not have a ton of turquoise, but it would be nothing short of heaven right now! The interiors are fabulous, but I'm really wishing I was hanging out poolside or on the amazing porch! Isn't the view incredible?! Finish ... View Post

Mona Ross Berman Interiors

January 8, 2015

This colorful dining room from the Chestnut Hill Center for Enrichment Designer Showhouse in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was designed by Mona Ross Berman–a lawyer-turned-designer known for her use of happy colors, and photographed by Courtney Apple! Really it can't get any happier than the Brunschwig & Fils wallpaper...love all the colors! The host chairs covered in the turquoise China Seas fabric are gorgeous too, as is the collection of plates and glassware! This talented designer is also ... View Post

Andrew Howard Interior Design

January 7, 2015

One of my favorite designers to watch lately is Andrew Howard Interior Design! He's been published in all my favorite magazines, including this incredible Jacksonville, Florida home photographed by Stacey Van Berkel and styled by Elizabeth Beeler that was featured in Coastal Living! I adore all the rooms here, but if I had to pick a favorite I'd say it's the living room with its breezy color palette and great mix of textures. The weathered boards on the ceiling, beautiful curtain fabric (from ... View Post
