LLH Interiors

January 25, 2016

Oh did my ever heart skip a beat when I saw this gorgeous kitchen and family room designed by Leslie Hunt of LLH Interiors! The talented LA-based designer worked with Vanessa McLean of McLean Design + Build to renovate the bright and breezy space, then filled it with layers of soothing sea-inspired blues and greens–the family's favorite colors. I'm not sure what I love more...the aqua sectional with fantastic mix of printed pillows, or the built-in banquette and its fab pillows! I also adore ... View Post

Anna Taberner

January 22, 2016

This beautiful home by interior designer Anna Taberner feels like a slice of spring...exactly what I needed right now! Located in Spain, the penthouse apartment has a lot going for it on its own like spectacular natural light and unique architectural details. The homeowners wanted to emphasize these great features with a comfortable "classic-modern" look, which the designer achieved by using neutral textiles and classic furnishings. Of course it's the splashes of color that caught my attention! ... View Post

Meriwether Design Group

January 21, 2016

If there's one thing that's obvious from looking at the extensive portfolio of Atlanta-based Meriwether Design Group, it's that they aren't afraid of color! As we can see from these photos by Lauren Rubinstein, they are clearly experts at mixing color, texture and pattern to create layered spaces that are full of personality. I especially love the vibrant and unexpected color combinations! Such fantastic artwork too! To be fair, I only shared their more colorful spaces; this firm is equally as ... View Post

Waterleaf Interiors

January 20, 2016

Believe it or not, this Los Angeles, California home used to look more like an Italian villa than a beach bungalow! Interior designer Suzanne Ascher of Waterleaf Interiors was behind the transformation; now light and bright, the home (photographed by Victoria Pearson) is filled with sea-to-sky tones and a laid-back, family-friendly vibe. I adore the blue island and cupboard so much–both painted Irogon Blue by Dunn-Edward! The kids' spaces are great too...love the built-in storage! Read all about ... View Post

Woodmeister Master Builders

January 19, 2016

Now this is a mudroom! Woodmeister Master Builders worked with  interior designer Marcia Summers to create the super-functional space for a lakeshore home in New Hampshire. The active homeowners wanted their mudroom to be useful, not fussy, with tons of storage for their family and overnight guests. The rustic knotty pine architectural millwork is so impressive...love all the cabinets and benches! And along with the perfect shade of teal (Benjamin Moore 2015-30 Casco Bay), the colorful outdoor ... View Post

Meredith McBrearty | Geoff Chick

January 18, 2016

This has to be one of the dreamiest homes I've ever laid eyes on! Located in Old Florida Beach, the incredible home was designed by Santa Rosa Beach architect Geoff Chick & Associates, with interior design by Meredith McBrearty out of Dallas, Texas. No doubt the design of the home (photographed by Derek Makekau) is all about the jaw-dropping view, with windows galore and fabulous outdoor spaces–but it's the inside of the open and airy home that left me in a total daydream! The combination of ... View Post

Renewal Design-Build

January 14, 2016

Talk about attention to detail! This cheery bathroom by Renewal Design-Build is filled with both character and convenience! Obviously it was the turquoise that got my attention (LOVE the cabinets!), but I'll be pinning these images for the smart little niches! I'm not one to normally pay attention to grout, but it looks great here paired with the yellow subway tile. The skylight above the tub is fantastic too! Seriously, what a cool bathroom! For lots more inspiring spaces by this Atlanta-based ... View Post

Mint Julep – WaterColor, Florida

January 13, 2016

I didn't think things in WaterColor, Florida could get any more blissful...until I ran across Mint Julep–an aptly named vacation rental brimming with seaside style! The atmosphere is refreshing, calming and comfortable, thanks to Jennifer Taylor Design who recently gave the dreamy beach house a 'refresh'! I absolutely adore the coastal-inspired color palette and fantastic use of natural texture. The open-concept main floor, ceiling in the game room and all three of the cozy porches are fabulous ...
