There's not much I love more than a shingle style home with blue shutters! Danielle from Finding Silver Pennies chose Benjamin Moore's Buxton Blue for her 1927 Dutch Colonial home in Scituate, Massachusetts...the perfect hue to echo the nearby ocean! The inside of her home is just as beautiful as the outside. It's bright and airy and filled with inspiring DIY projects and flea market treasures–see her full house tour here! I think my favorite thing of all has to be her darling coastal-inspired ... View Post
Sabrina Alfin Interiors
What a fun bathroom! Sabrina Alfin Interiors, a San Francisco Bay Area interior designer, designed the spirited space for two teenage sisters—one a dancer, one a cheerleader. In addition to making sure the room (photographed here by Dean J. Birinyi) was full of pizazz, another goal of the renovation was to provide plenty of counter space and storage–a must for any girl! I love how fun and colorful everything is (the wall color is Sherwin-Williams Swimming SW 6764), yet the classic custom ... View Post

DAG Design
Just over a year ago interior designer Cara Fineman of DAG Design moved into her 1902 Dutch Colonial home in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Since then she's been busy decorating, and with three young children - as well as a dog and a cat, focusing on keeping the home comfortable and family-friendly! With a penchant for color, she wanted the home to feel bright and joyful. And I love how she did it...starting with the gorgeous turquoise chandelier in the dining nook! (I've wanted that one for so ... View Post
