Tracery Interiors

May 1, 2018

While on the hunt for a potential summer vacation spot, I stumbled on Grand View–an incredible Texas beach house on Mustang Island in the beachside community of Cinnamon Shore. Think 30A on the Texas coast! I immediately recognized the work of one of my favorite interior designers: Paige Sumblin Schnell and her firm Tracery Interiors. Part of this home was actually featured in their book so I was excited to finally see the entire thing! The custom-built beachfront stunner was designed by architect Mark Schnell for a Texas family that wanted a retreat on the Gulf. Each room is filled with charming and unique details, not to mention sea-inspired hues and beachy accents that complement the amazing water view. Don’t you just love the kitchen with its double islands, turquoise slipcovered stools, and shimmery tile backsplash? Yup, I think it would suit my family perfectly!

The slipcovers are not only beautiful, but smart to have in a beach house rental too. Just throw them in the wash!

Loving how the coral and aqua pop against the neutral background. The rustic elements add great character to the space too.

The color scheme continues into this dreamy third-floor master suite. The ceiling is gorgeous! Loving the built-ins too.

All you need is some coffee and a good book!

The bedrooms all have a coastal cottage vibe that I adore. I can’t think of a better place for a nap than the porch below!

This fab bunk room/den is the perfect place for the kids to hang out when they’re not at the beach.

WOW! What a beautiful beachhouse. I vacation along 30A in Watercolor and Seaside, and I am a fan of Tracery Interiors.
The only part I do not like of the beach house is the tile backsplash in the kitchen. I would tire of that quickly, but everything else is on point. That is just my opinion…to each his own. It is a stunning place with stunning views.

Great examples of Kitchen design. You can have as bright an overall colour scheme as your Chef’s heart desires, but keep you Kitchen Cabinets basic white, if yo =do. This will add more ‘pop’ to the overall design.

I’m Erin and I am obsessed with the color turquoise. I started this blog to collect inspirational photos I find of fabulous rooms that feature all of the lovely shades of my favorite color. For even more turquoise, visit my shopping blog Everything Turquoise!
