When I heard The Southern Grind opened up a new location in Orange Beach, Alabama (connected to the new Hotel Indigo and across the street from the beach) I knew it was going to be another turquoise wonderland…turns out there’s even more turquoise than the first location in The Wharf! Not only do the owners Jimmy and Jaime McPhillips serve up their delicious original menu, they also sell resort wear, beach gear in addition to local art and gifts. And since Jaime is a turquoise-loving interior designer, it’s all wrapped up in a cool coastal vibe! The serene paint colors and stained cement floor are the perfect canvas for displaying the many treasures throughout, not to mention the sort of backdrop I personally love in my downtime! I’d be there all the time!! If you’re lucky enough to be near Orange Beach, check it out–visit their website for more pics and all the info on both locations!

I was just there two weeks ago over spring break and fell in love. I wanted to buy a shirt but didn’t get a chance to go back (we ate breakfast there every morning until the last day when I wanted to buy the shirt and ran out of time.) 🙁 Do you know if they sell the clothing online somewhere? Thanks so much in advance. Our whole family of 6 loved The Southern Grind!!!! I want a shirt to wear around Kansas!!

Thank you so much for this! I fell in love with this coffee shop, partly for the coffee and partly for the beautiful interior. I’m now painting my office in these colors.
