Shophouse Design

July 16, 2015

I don’t think I’ve managed to pick my jaw up off the floor since I first laid eyes on this absolutely gorgeous bathroom by Shophouse Design captured by photographer Kyle Born! That wallpaper!! It’s Fontainebleau from Cole & Son and it is fab-u-less. Those colors, the pattern…it seriously takes my breath away! The lighting, tile, vanity, hardware and mirror are really beautiful as well. Love how they let the wallcovering take center stage though. It deserves it! See the rest of this home as well as more projects from Shophouse Design right over here!

I love a bold wallpaper in the bath, especially a powder room where there is no concern about moisture from a shower or tub. This room really is beautiful and I also like the way they used a white lighting fixture in place of the more expected brass or metal.

I worked several years in printing business which included printing wallpaper and I've never seen one as beautiful as this one. Just stunning. I couldnt do a whole room but one large wall would be nice.

Only certain styles and sizes of prints are available. For example, only lustre is available for basic prints. This is because lustre is the best of both glossy and matte. As for my pick for what looks best, I’m partial to the ThinWraps. You can read more about how BayPhoto does these ThinWraps here, but it’s a great way to display photos without frames. These look sleek and modern as they appear to float off the wall. They’re really sharp. Plus, no framing costs! Likewise, the floating metal prints are very eye-catching, but I’d only recommend these for certain photos. Specifically, ones with a lot of rich, deep color.office copier leasing
