When I learned that Meyer Vacation Rentals was a huge supporter of Operation ReConnect, I knew I had to tell you guys about that too. Operation ReConnect is a non-profit organization that provides deployed combat veterans and their families/support systems with a free week of beach-front accommodations while they are home on leave. Basically a gift of time that allows for an uninterrupted week for these families to reconnect, donated by the owners of the beach homes. I thought that was such a cool idea!

If you own a beach house/condo and are interesting in donating it to a combat veteran and their family for a seven-day period (or longer!) or know of a combat veteran that could use a week at the beach to reconnect with their loved ones, visit Operation ReConnect or their Facebook page to get more info! 

Oh and you have to see this turquoise stunner…Windswept, another gulf-front home from Meyer Vacation Rentals, was a donation to the organization that Operation ReConnect families were recently able to enjoy!
