Southern Tides – Tybee Island, Georgia – Part 2

September 10, 2014

Today we’re finishing up the tour of Southern Tides, the incredible Tybee Island beach home designed by none other than the uber-talented Jane Coslick! (See Part 1 of the tour here.) It was like Christmas morning when my nieces and nephew laid eyes on the bunk room for the first time…they were SO excited! And I was so excited about the sleeping porch! Have you ever seen such a fun one?! We definitely took our turns hiding in there for some R&R! Another personal favorite was the outdoor shower just outside the bathroom in our Starfish bedroom. Not only that, but the outdoor vanity. I loved curling my hair on the porch overlooking the pool, never done that before!

The home had plenty of space for all ten of us–it actually sleeps 14 people, has 4 bathrooms, laundry room, three cozy places to hunker down for a movie, a fully-stocked kitchen (with the biggest sink I’ve ever seen), brand new private pool, porches galore, and so many old doors with endless ins-and-outs and places to explore! Such a cool old house! Jane certainly outdid herself on this project!

For more on Southern Tides, check out some behind-the-scenes pics on Jane Coslick’s blog! You can also read all about the home, see tons more photos and get rental info here!

Go here to see the stunning first floor of the home!

Lastly I have to share a few photos Chris took of my favorite part of the vacation!

Love that little beach bum! 😉

Just got reacquainted with your blog after a few months away. How refreshing!
My favorite items in the Love Feast Shop have to be the velvet pumpkins! The beautiful topaz-orange and
light turquoise ones are my favorites. How inspirational to have the natural stems!
Your blog is such a nice place to visit after a long day teaching little ones!
