Kathryn J. LeMaster Art & Design

August 6, 2014

This bathroom by Little Rock, Arkansas interior designer Kathryn J. LeMaster, photographed here by Karen E. Segrave, is both beautiful and functional! Storage is always my number one priority and I love how Kathryn created plenty of stylish places to stash necessities! Love the great mix of textures with the wood, tile and beadboard…and how they all look with the wall color (Tradewind by Sherwin-Williams). A little bit rustic, but still so serene and pretty! The little room saw a big transformation, see the before shots and read all about the space here!

Not a fan of beadboard, subway tile, pebble rock floor in shower AND wood look tile all in one small bath. It appears that someone could not make a choice of the look they wanted and decided to use everything ! Individually , I like each one just not all four together. At the end of the day if the client is happy that is what counts.

I really like the "updated vintage" look/feel created in this previously "non-descript" bath! It just works! Great job!

Love the color on the walls. Perfect for the bath. Wish I had the double sinks in my master bath.

Taking your time means it will turn out beautiful! We need to renovate our guest bathroom to make it more functional…some day. We did purchase new toilets a month ago for both of our bathrooms and it makes a huge difference.

What material did you use for the vanity counter?

Hi Cyndi! The countertop is concrete – custom framed, poured, and stained by the contractor. A great inexpensive and durable material! Thanks for the question.

Thanks for the answer! What about the grout color in the shower? I can't tell if it's a tan or gray.

Hi Cyndi! Sorry I just saw this a couple months later! The grout color is sort of a putty/cement color, if that makes sense!

How are the shelfs above the toilet anchored to the ceiling?

What a georgeous bathroom! Could you tell me the dimensions of the space?
