Fröken Turkos

July 1, 2014

I knew I landed on something special when I came across the Swedish interior designer and stylist Leonor Juhl Kristiansson. Get this…her company’s name is Fröken Turkos or Miss Turquoise and her portfolio is abundant with our favorite color! This is her home above (photographed by Lina Ikse) located a bike ride away from the ocean in Billdal, Sweden. All of the white with colorful, cozy accents makes the home feel so inviting and cheerful, absolutely a place I’d want to call home myself! You can read all about the home over at Hus & Hem (English translation version here!)

Amazing pictures. I didn't know this Swedish interior designer Leonor Juhl Kristiansson but from what I see here I think it's stunning, absolutely beautiful. I specially like the predominance of the white, and then we have some details of cheerful and bright colors that gives so much dynamic to the rooms. AWESOME thank you for sharing her work 😉

Your cabinets look fabulous!! LOVE the French Country look. How is the Annie Sloan chalk paint holding up in the kitchen? I thought about painting my daughter's bathroom cabinets with ASCP but i didn't know how it would hold up in a high moisture area. I also want to paint my dark kitchen cabinets as well and i love the fact that the only prep is to wipe down the cabinets.
