If I could do just one thing to our kitchen, I would add a turquoise backsplash. (Close second: one of those turquoise Kohler sinks!) This stunner of a space was designed by Noelle Parks, a Manhattan Beach, CA interior designer. The backsplash adds so much drama to the room, I love it! The watery color of the tile is just perfect, it has so much dimension to it! And the fab pattern behind the range is the perfect finishing touch! To see more photos of the home, head over here!

I love this designer! Her work consistently portrays a solid marriage to not only her detailed understanding of the microcosm of interior spaces but, too, of the role that creation plays in the larger sense. With the thoughtful use of these turquoise elements, there lays no seam between what is outside and what is in.

Except for the dark blue painted island, I love the rest of the kitchen. I would have opted to paint it turquoise.

The backsplash tile is peacock topaz, available at Ann Sacks and Urban Archeology. New Ravenna is the manufacturer for both companies.
