San Francisco Bay Area interior designer Kriste Michelini created this cozy, light-filled “writer’s retreat” on the third floor of the 2013 San Francisco Decorator Showcase, photographed here by David Duncan Livingston and Roberto Tiscareno. I love the triangular nook! The wall paper is great… Those white+grey wall art pieces are perfect in the space. They let the room keep all the light and the essence of white walls while being more interesting than emptiness. Beautiful.
My favorite part of the room is the flooring. Love the color and pattern.
It's also nice to see this wallpaper in a real home vs. a room setting photo provided by the manufacturer. Elitis has amazing one-of-kind wallpapers. Is it okay for me to say Hirshfield's Design Studio carries their books?
