12 Oaks Bathroom

April 18, 2013

Ben and Amanda of the inspiring blog 12 Oaks recently finished remodeling their guest bath and what a transformation it saw! (Bye bye pink tiles and vanity!) Benjamin Moore’s Palladian Blue is the perfect color for the tongue and groove walls! I love that they chose a classic white subway tile for the shower and beautiful marble for the floor, looks amazing! The vanity is awesome too and I love all the accessories–especially the shower curtain! Seriously such a cute bathroom, I love every inch! View more pics, learn all the sources, and see the renovation step-by-step over at 12 Oaks!

I love the vanity. I was looking at a similar one from Restoration Hardware. Where did you find yours?

Looks like they bought the vanity (which included the marble top) from Home Decorators…I love it too!

You made a beautiful bathroom. Great work! Did it take you a lot of time to repair? I recently renovated my bathroom. I did not want to spend a lot of money on repairs, so I made such changes. 1. To replace the tiles. You can decorate them with decorative plastic panels. This finishing material is easy to install and does not require special skills. Another variant of the original decoration is to decorate the bathroom with a mural. 2. The easiest way not to spend money on repairs and not to change the tile is to radically change it. 3. Also, replacing a mirror, rug or toothbrush cup can give an amazing effect. But now I plan to do a complete renovation. Is it worthwhile hiring contractors to perform repairs or is it cheaper to do everything myself? I will be grateful for the help.

I’m Erin and I am obsessed with the color turquoise. I started this blog to collect inspirational photos I find of fabulous rooms that feature all of the lovely shades of my favorite color. For even more turquoise, visit my shopping blog Everything Turquoise!
