Years ago I shared a photo of this droolworthy bedroom designed by Margaret Donaldson Interiors out of Charleston, South Carolina. I’m sure so many of you have already seen it! When I discovered even more pics, imagine how super excited I was!! Definitely over the top (in a fabulous way!), the turquoise bedroom in the Southern Living Idea House was inspired by the yummy assortment of Designers’ Guild fabrics used for the custom duvet cover. Even the ceiling features a faux-finished pattern interpreted from the bedding. Such luxe furnishings here…that mirrored canopy bed is absolutely gorgeous! What a great bathroom too!! Tour more of the Southern Living idea house here (In the City), it has turquoise throughout!

It is lovely…a tad too over the top for me… BUT… I do think the bathroom is spectacular…love how the photo of the ocean is hung over the tub…

I'm not sure I could manage with all of that turquoise and blue but there are some very beautiful features that I will certainly be borrowing inspiration from!

i dont care how many times i've seen it, it never gets old! and i LOVE the additional photos. Also, i pinned the window treatment for the bathroom! I'm dying to do that for my bathroom. love the option to close the drapes for privacy or have them peak open (with the pom poms) for normal hours!

The mirrored bed is absolutely amazing! This room is the definition of modern glam. I love all of the details… Especially the painting mounted over the tub; Genius.
